Are boy or girl Maltipoos better?
Male vs Female Maltipoo: Behavioral Differences
Many people claim there are personality differences between male Maltipoos and female Maltipoos. For example, some say that males are easier to train while females are smarter. Some say that females are more territorial while males are more aggressive.
Can Maltipoo protect you?
The Maltipoo is also protective of his or her home and humans. Since they are so devoted to their owners, these pups are always on high alert should they feel a threat is imminent. They have no problem with barking loudly in the event something is wrong.
Are Maltipoos stubborn?
Stubborn. Like most intelligent breeds, Maltipoos are known to be a little stubborn, especially females. This can make it a little harder to train them but Maltipoos are reward driven so if you have a treat to encourage them, it will be a lot easier.
Do Maltipoos love their owners?
Maltipoos may get hyper bursts of energy but tend to be a very affectionate and loving breed that is happy to be picked up and give lots of cuddles to their owners. Because Maltipoos are so socially dependent on humans, they develop deep bonds with those who care for them.
How many times a day do you feed a Maltipoo?
It is recommended to feed your maltipoo at least 2 meals per day. As they are a smaller breed, they may not do so well with just one large meal. Again, treats could be offered in between meals as positive reinforcement during training.
Why does my Maltipoo stare at me?
Just as humans stare into the eyes of someone they adore, dogs will stare at their owners to express affection. In fact, mutual staring between humans and dogs releases oxytocin, known as the love hormone.
